الملخص
        هذا البحث يدور حول أحد الشعراء الذين أعدتهم القبيلة للملمات وادخرتهم للزبات, فلم يخذلوها  بل وظفوا شعرهم في خدمتها, وهو القحيف العقيلي أحد شعراء الطبقة العاشرة من شعراء الإسلام, وقد آثرت دراسة هذا الموضوع عنده نظرا لغلبة الشعر الذي يدور في فلک القبيلة وتردده في ديوانه بصورة لفتت انتباه النقاد.
        ويتطلع البحث إلى أن يجيب عن عدة تساؤلات منها: کيف وظف القحيف العقيلي شعره في خدمة قبيلته؟ وما الأغراض الشعرية التي توسل القحيف بها لتحقيق هذه الغاية؟ وما أبرز المعاني والمضامين التي يزخر بها شعر القحيف في قبيلته؟ وما أبرز السمات الفنية الخاصة التي يتميز بها شعر القحيف في قبيلته؟ ويخضع البحث لمعطيات المنهج الوصفي.Abstract
 
 
 
This research focuses on one of the poets prepared by the tribe for the times of distress and adversity. They did not fail their tribe but employed their poetry in its service. Al-Qaif Al-Oqaily was one of the poets who ranked among the tenth class of the Muslim poets. The reason why this study on Al-Qaif Al-Oqaily has been conducted is that his poetry frequently addressed the tribe’s issues in a way that drew the critics’ attention. This research is intended to answer several questions. Among them there are: How did Al-Qaif Al-Oqaily use his poetry in the service of his tribe? What poetic purposes did he make use of in order to achieve this end? What are the most prominent meanings and themes found in Al-Qaif’s poetry about his tribe? What are the special artistic features of Al-Qaif's poetry about his tribe?
The data of the research is to be analyzed using the descriptive analysis approach.
