الملخص
المعاجم مرآة الأمم، وديوان کلامها، فالثروة اللغوية التي حوتها أنفس النفائس، وقد عني هذه البحث بمعجم اختصر معجم الصحاح، واستدرک عليه مع صغر حجمه، إذ لم يکن الاستدراک على المعاجم في اللغة ظاهرة اعتباطية، إنما حکمتها عدة ضوابط کشفت عنها هذه الدراسة؛ ذلک لأن اللّغة المعبّرة عن ذلک لا تکاد تحدّ، أو لا ينبغي أن تحدّ سعة وتجدّداً؛ لتلاحق کل جديد في الحياة.
وقد تفيأت ظلال المعاجم مدة من الزمن لفت نظري أثناء مدارسة شروحاتها الدراسات النقدية على الصحاح، والکتب التي اختصرته، فعزمت على الوقوف على کتاب مختار الصحاح، وبيان منهجيته وأسباب تأليفه، وأنماط الاستدراک فيه مع کونه من المعاجم المختصرة.
 
Abstract
 
 
Dictionaries are the mirror of nations, and the body of their speech, for the linguistic wealth that the most valuable valuable contains, and this research was concerned with a dictionary that shortened the lexicon of the Sahih and made up for it with its small size, as recourse to the dictionaries in the language was not an arbitrary phenomenon, but rather ruled by several controls revealed by this study. This is because the language expressing this hardly limits, or should not, limit its amplitude and renewal. To catch up with everything new in life.
The shadows of the dictionaries disappeared for a period of time, which caught my attention while studying their explanations, critical studies on the Sahih, and the books that shortened it, so I resolved to study the book of Mukhtar al-Sahih, and explain its methodology, reasons for its composition, and the patterns of comprehension in it despite being one of the abbreviated dictionaries.
