Abstract

The call to slang is highly related to orientalism, as it has become one of the objectives of orientalists who want to oppose the classical language of the Qur'an, and the call for slang was a way to achieve the great goal of excluding the Qur'an in the first place, and the Qur'an is not excluded until the Arabic language disappears, and this is done only through means of education.
The call for slang is also an attempt to stop the growth of the Arabic language from expanding and preventing its movement with the spread of Islam, and there is no reasonable doubt about the extent of the close correlation between language, religion and the nation, as the scholars of the old and the modern realized, linking the Arabic language with Islam.
Because of the seriousness of the dictionaries in building and understanding the Arabic language, orientalists have made many efforts in the field of Arabic dictionaries, and perhaps what is striking about their lexical efforts is their often departure from the pattern of building the original Arabic dictionaries, and the introduction of many collocy in them, which requires Arab researchers to criticize these dictionaries and discuss what is in them in order to reveal the real intentions behind their manufacture, and is it because of the ignorance of their makers about the controls of building Arab dictionaries or because of bad intentions and promotion of colloism? This research discusses this subtraction (imposition) through a critical analytical approach to one of the largest dictionaries made by orientalists, the dictionary "Complement of Arabic Dictionaries" by Dutch orientalist Linhart Dozi.
I will address this issue in this research by preparing and examining
First: Dozy's sources in his dictionary in light of the rules and controls of The Arab Lexical.
Secondly, the Dozi dictionary has to do with the call to slang.
In the end, the conclusion includes the most important findings of the research.
