الملخص : يدرس هذا البحث تجليات الرمز الأسطوري في المسرح السُّعودي المعاصر، ومسرح محمد العثيم ، حيث يبرز في مسرحه کثرة لجوئه إلى التّراث الإنساني عربيا وغربيا ، عندما نهل من الأساطير ، والتُّراث الشّعبي ؛ غير أنّ ظاهرة استلهامه للأساطير تظلّ الأکثر بروزا . وقد آثرنا أن نقصر دراستنا على مسرحية (الهيار) ؛ لأن الکاتب جمع فيها عددا من الرموز الأسطورية ، ووظفها توظيفا فنيا جيدا . ونحاول في هذا البحث أنّ نتتبع الرموز الأسطورية في هذه المسرحية ، معتمدين على منهج النقد الأسطوري لصاحبه (بيار برونيل), وذلک لأن هذا المنهج يعد من أحدث المناهج النقدية. Abstract : This research studies the manifestation of mythical symbol in Saudi contemporary theater, and Muhammad Alothaim's theater, where highlights in the theater use it to the large number of human heritage, Arab and Western, when taken from myths, and folklore; However, the use it of myths remain the most prominent.We have preferred to limit on our study (Alheiar) play; because Author collected a number of mythological symbols, and used by the a technically well. We try in this research to trace the mythical symbols in this play, depending on the method mythical criticism author (Pierre Brunel), because the method is one of the newest methods of criticism.
