لمحمد بن حسن الآمِدِيّ کان حياً سنة 1291هـ ـ تحقيق ودراسة
  تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحقيق "رسالة في بيان مخارج الحروف وصفاتها" لمحمد بن حسن الآمِدي، وهي تعالج مبحثين يمثلان رکيزة أساسية لملتمس الأداء القرآني السليم، بجانب بعض المصطلحات المتعلقة بذلک، کالإمالة، والتسهيل، والصَّوْت، والنَّفَس، واللَّحْن.
  وقد استعمل الآمِدي في هذه الرسالة بعض المصطلحات قليلة الدوران في کتب التجويد والأصوات، بجانب ما هو متداول وشائع فيها. وأبان عن بعض آرائه الصوتية، کرأيه في عدد مخارج الأصوات. کما استعان برسم توضيحي وَزَّع عليه المخارج والأصوات.
  وهو ما دعاني لتحقيق هذه الرسالة، ونشر مادتها الصوتية، وإلقاءِ الضوء قبلَ النصِ المحقق على حياة المؤلف ورسالته، وتذييله بفارس فنية.

This study aims at verifying the book entitled "Risalah Fi Makharij Al-Herouf Wa Sifataihah" (A Message in Expounding the Pronunciation and Characteristics of Sounds), written by Muhammad Ibn Hassan Al-Amidey. The study deals with two subsections that represent an important key for those seeking the sound recitation of the Glorious Qur'an. The paper is also meant to tackle some relevant terminology, such as 'Imalah' (Inclination), 'Tasheel' (simplification), 'Sawt' (sound), "Nafas' (an exhalation/inhalation), and 'Lahn' (solecism(  .
In this message, Al-Amidey utilized some terms which are less common in the books of Tajwīd (proficiency). Al-Amidey also pointed out his views on phonetics, such as his view on the articulation of sounds. Meanwhile, Al-Amidey used a chart through which he divided the articulations and sounds.
With that being said, I found it interesting to verify Al-Amidey's message, disseminate its phonetic substance, preceded by shedding light on the author's biography and studied manuscript, and append technical indexes to the studied text.
